Our Values

Carol Hartzog Communications follows a set of principles that exemplify what is truly important to us:

  1. We work smart
  2. We provide a total communications package
  3. We make a difference in the community
  4. We build and nurture strong business relationships
  5. We strive to serve the public in an ethical manner

Hartzog and her team make an effort to be involved in their community by volunteering with various civic groups, nonprofits and participating in other charitable events.

Carol Hartzog has read to Ida Freeman first-graders every other week for many years, through the Edmond Rotary Club program.

As part of Sequoyah Middle School's career day, Carol Hartzog spoke to about 60 children about careers in journalism and public relations.

Salvation Army

Can you tell it’s cold? Carol Hartzog rings Salvation Army bells with the Edmond Rotary Club. No surprise, but the most requested gift by children of the Salvation Army is a bicycle. The Central Oklahoma Command began with its first permanent shelter in 1900 from a $50 grant from the City of Oklahoma City.

Carol Hartzog works with her daughters (not pictured) in community service projects, in the HOPE Center clothing room or at First Presbyterian Church in Edmond, Okla., for "Cooks Night Out," feeding whomever walks through the door. She also serves as an advisory board member for the Edmond Rotary Club, and recently flipped pancakes with the best of them to provide scholarships for graduating Edmond high school seniors, based on their community-service activities, leadership, academics and need.

Susan Grossman is currently serving her second, two-year term as president of the University of Oklahoma Band Alumni Association and is a member of Sooner Parents. She also serves on the editorial advisory committee for Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition’s magazine ArtFocus and is involved in the Oklahoma City chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
